Warren Don Brachear	

	Warren Don Brachear, 66, of Benton, died at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2004 at his home.
	Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the First Christian Church, Benton, with Rev. Dale Carson officiating.  Burial was in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton.  Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home.
	Mr. Brachear was born July 14, 1937 in Litchfield, IL, the son of Raymond and Ina (Priddle) Brachear.  He married the former Vicki Cavatorta on June 24, 1968 and she survives.     
	He was a retired coal miner and farmer.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and being outdoors.  He was a pilot, horseman, and mechanic.  He was a member of the U.M.W.A., Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and North America Hunting Club.  He was of the Methodist faith.
	In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Jackie Taylor and husband Mark, Carlyle, IL, Greg Brachear and wife Tammy, Taylorville, IL, Michael Brachear and wife Darla, Benton, Tracy Brown and husband Steve, DuQuoin, IL, Tammy Green, Morrisonville, IL, Kevin Scott and wife Nordela Scott, Southmayd, TX, sixteen grandchildren, Stacie, Jessica, Matthew Green, Mt. Auburn, IL, Donald Brachear and special friend Lindsay Mondino, Benton, Leslie and husband Robbie Hebbeler, Benton, Elizabeth and Brian Scott, Odessa, TX, Anthony Vandenberg, Southmayd, TX, Raistlin Blumberg, Southmayd, TX, Adam and Randi Brachear, Taylorville, IL, Ryan and Jared Brown, DuQuoin, IL, Benjamin, Ginger, and Cassie Taylor, Carlyle, IL, two great-grandchildren, Jeffery and Jacob Hebbeler, Benton, a brother, Keith Brachear and wife Jeannie, Bakersfield, CA, a sister, Rita Matich and husband William, Flagler Beach, FL, a sis-in-law, Nathalie Brachear, Waggoner, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
	Mr. Brachear was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Richard Brachear.
	Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois, CASA of Franklin County, or World Changers and will be accepted at the funeral home.
